All Nations Multicultural Day

Join us as we honor the varied expressions of the Imago Dei represented at Northwest Baptist Church! As we worship the Lord Jesus through life and mission, and as we labor toward a coming Rev. 7:9-12 reality, in which a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people group, and language will stand before the throne of God, we invite you to join in celebrating the ethnic and cultural diversity of our local faith family!

If you are a guest or a participant showcasing a particular heritage, we invite you to wear traditional attire that corresponds with your ethnicity!

You will experience:

  • A Cultural Showcase

Enjoy attire, music, dance, food tastings, and crafts from around the world

  • Educational Dialogue

Learn about the traditions and different perspectives of those showcasing their ethnic heritage

  • An Opportunity to Meet Missionaries From the People Groups Represented

Each table will feature missionaries who share the same heritage!

Please RSVP below to ensure that those who are participating prepare enough bite-size samples of food for you to experience during the celebration.

Are you interested in representing your ethnic/cultural heritage? We’d love for you to be part of the day! Please select your level of involvement below, and we’ll be in touch with details!

Secret Church '24

Join us for an evening of gathering around God’s Word as we break bread together, pray, and fellowship! We will be watching the Secret Church broadcast with believers all over the world! Youth aged 13+ are also encouraged to attend. Feel free to invite a friend!

Your Secret Church Experience

STUDY: Take a 6-hour deep dive to study God’s epic tale of redemption in the story of Ruth. It’s a story that reminds us that each of our lives–no matter how ordinary they may sometimes seem and no matter how difficult they may sometimes be–is indeed a part of a plan much larger than ourselves and much more thrilling than we could ever imagine.

PRAY: This year, we will explore the story of the persecuted church in North Korea, considered by many the most hostile-to-Christian country in the world. Together, we will pray and support our brothers and sisters in North Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia, and other persecuted places.

ACT: We will be challenged to live on mission–in our neighborhoods and to the nations.

BRING: A small appetizer or dessert to share.

Please RSVP by April 12, 2024, to ensure that we have enough of the main course (pizza) and drinks for everyone who will attend.

Northwest Baptist Faith & Blue Weekend 2021

National Faith & Blue Weekend is a collaborative effort to build bridges and break biases. Northwest Baptist Church has partnered with neighboring community leaders to provide an avenue for crucial conversations with our local precinct captain, Will Buckingham.

The goal of this forum is to raise important issues in policing so that they can be discussed out in the open and in such a way as to create greater understanding between the community and law enforcement.

This is a free event. We’d love for you to attend!
